Sparklee Mirror Privacy Policy

Sparklee Society (“Sparklee,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Sparklee Mirror mobile application (“Mirror”). Mirror is designed to help patients access information and guidance related to their Tixel sessions and keep a private visual record of their progress.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information you provide through Mirror.
Information We Collect
When you use Mirror, we may collect the following information:
Your Name
Mirror asks you to provide your name when you access the app. We use your name to identify you within Mirror and provide the appropriate session information and app functionality.
Reflection Photos
Mirror allows you to take photographs of yourself within the app. These photographs are used to create your private reflection history and allow you to view and compare your progress over time.
Health and Session Information
Mirror may store information related to your Tixel sessions and associated skincare or recovery guidance. This information is used to provide you with the appropriate information and functionality within Mirror.
We only collect information that is relevant to providing the core functionality of the app.
How We Collect Information
Information is collected directly from you when you use Mirror, including when you enter your name or take a reflection photograph.
Information related to your sessions may also be provided to Mirror through the systems used by the participating practice.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected through Mirror to:
Identify you within the app.
Provide information and guidance related to your Tixel session.
Store and display your reflection photographs.
Allow you to view and compare your progress over time.
Provide reminders and other app functionality when applicable.
Maintain, secure, and operate Mirror.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your health or session information for advertising, marketing, or tracking purposes.
How We Share Information
Mirror uses third-party technology services to securely store and process information necessary to operate the app.
Mirror uses Supabase as a technology service for database and data-storage functionality.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
We do not share your personal or health information with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
Third-party service providers that process information on our behalf are expected to use that information only to provide the services necessary to operate Mirror and to maintain appropriate protections for that information.
Photos
Reflection photographs submitted through Mirror are associated with the patient using the app and are used solely for the app's reflection and progress features.
We do not use patient reflection photographs for advertising or sell them to third parties.
Push Notifications
If you enable notifications, Mirror may send reminders and other app-related notifications to your device.
Notifications are used to support the functionality of Mirror and are not used for advertising or tracking.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Mirror's functionality and maintain the patient's reflection and session history.
If you would like to request deletion of your information, please contact us using the information below.
When information is no longer required for the purposes described in this policy, we will delete or securely dispose of it in accordance with our applicable data-retention practices, unless we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business or security purposes.
Your Privacy Choices and Requests
You may request information about the personal information we have associated with you, or request deletion of your information, by contacting us.

Children's Privacy
Mirror is not directed toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information collected through Mirror against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no method of transmitting or storing information can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Mirror, our data practices, or applicable requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this policy.
